Parambikulam

Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, which is located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, has three man-made reservoirs; Parambikulam, Thunacadavu and Peruvaripallam. The sanctuary is home to four different tribes of indigenous peoples, including the Kadar, Malasar, Muduvar and Maha Malasar. It boasts of 34 rare and endemic species of butterflies.
Valpara is a hill station which is a part of Western Ghats and beautiful with its tea gardens and forest range. This forest range lies in the state of Tamilnadu above 3500 feet from sea level.The place is beautiful with its thick forest range and is best for nature photography. The nearest tourist spots are Athirapilly waterfalls, Peringalkuthu Dam Site, Sholayar Dam Site, Upper Sholayar dam, Valpara Tea Estate, Aliyar Dam, Neerar dam and Kadamparai Dam.

Nelliyampathy

Nelliyampathy is located near the town of Palakkad in Kerala, close to the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border.Steep ways through farms and tea estates lead to Nelliyampathy, making it ideal for a drive. Picnic spots like Porthundy dam which offer boating and a rare geographical formation like Palakkad gap, also attract people to this hill station. Other important peaks are Vela Vanchan, Mayanmudi, Vellachimudi and Valiyavana.
Located at a distance of 80 kms from Hotel Gopalapuram International, Palani Hills are of great religious importance for Hindus. The major attraction of the hills is a temple, dedicated to Lord Subramanya. The temple is situated on top of a hill, reached by a flight of 659 steps. It is one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga and devotees from across the country visit the place in huge numbers.
